International students handbook:
"British politness means that people often make formal remarks which they do not mean literally. For example, if after a brief meeting a stranger suggest that you go round their house for coffee sometimes, they do not usually expect yu to turn up at their house (...)"

"In the Uk nodding your head means 'yes' and shaking the head means 'no'."

------------

I am so happy that they don't underestimate the intelligence of us foreigners!

Heheh If they say to come around they're house for coffee, it means you've pulled. Whereas, if they ask you to come around for tea, they're most definately of the other persuasion ;)

Heheh indeed... probably where I go wrong. Still, its not that I'm of "the other persuasion", but that I'm really crap at pulling =)

I guess there really isn't anything else going on in your life. Shame really. I thought you had at least a 2D personality...

wow! welcome to the human race- u actually got upset by some1 taking the piss out of ur sorry hide!

but, alas, im going to have to mention the tissues under the bed issue.

Yes, thats right folks, craig single-handedly (not enough salami to warrent use of two hands) produced approx seventeen metric tons of crinkly tissue which he carfully stored across the entire surface area of his room at Auckland Avenue.

His >2D personality allowed him to be this cool.

oh, DJ, what's that "The-level-of-intelligence-in-foreigners-is-quite-apparent-old-boy"-business?

Do I have to get the Portuguese mob involved?
