Ok, most pages should now auto-refresh after 500 seconds (~8 minutes), so you can catch the latest posts without having to mangle the "refresh" button by over-using it.

If you start typing something in the "add a reply" or "add a new discussion" forms, then the auto-refresh should become disabled for that page. If you find any problems with this, let me know here.

Mozilla seems to react a bit strangely; I have to run some more tests.

Admins: to prevent a page from auto-refreshing, add the following line to the top part of code of the page (before "page_top"):

$refresh = false;

Blame Rich; he was the one with the auto-refresh-no-matter-what technology. My technology is much more user friendly...

Actually, I say let's punch Rich in the stomach.

Uh? I had fixed this... I'm not sure if I also fixed the "add articles" pages, but I believe I did (with the "$refresh = false;" line I mentioned before...)

So, no pages should refresh if the user has typed anything on the "add a reply" or "add a discussion" boxes...

Not to worry - I've fixed it anyway, although not using the refresh=false line, perhaps it would be better that way, though...
