Anybody be keeping up with the research? Been a while since i read anything on it, and I wondering where they got to...

Yeah, they made a cool discovery the other day, by finding an alternative catalyst to Platinum (the reason why the darned things are so expensive).

If I remember correctly, it consisted of three run-of-the-mill elements including Tin (can't remember the other two). Basically, they'll make the cells with lots of these metals in tiny pellet form acting as a lovelly cheap catalyst.

Hooray is what I say.

Oh, that and obviously they have found that they can use carbon nanotubes to store lots of hydrogen without having it incredibly pressurised.

100 bucks says it gets eaten by the oil companies, ya know, till we run out of oil.
