In case you still don't know about it, have a look.

It's yet-another-distributed-computing thingy, but it's goals seem more honourable than most. I'm running it at the moment, no probs, although it's a memory glutton (easy to turn off for the occasional loading of other memory gluttons though).

If you are terribly interested, we can make a BurningHorizons team (and maybe even have a link on the front page, yeeeee... <sad>)

Other memory gluttons including Windows?

Sounds cool though. I've got plenty of cycles going to waste here...

I will laugh if the project lasts long enough to demonstrate (again) that distributed computing is more powerful than using expensive supercomputers for big tasks.

For example, comparing it to the recently constructed Japanese Earth simulator? ;)

Yea. I'll do a BH team thign if u want. I'll install the client on all the office machines.

Actually, 1,000,000,000,000,000 is a million billion, or a billiard(!).

A quadrllion, if everybody were to speak the language correctly, is 10^24.
